Camp Kinkora is perfect for:
Weddings
At Camp Kinkora, we offer wedding planners and parties a truly unique and affordable experience for up to 250 people from late August to mid-June. You and your party get exclusive use of the entire camp site, including our large rustic event hall with stone fireplace, 12 winterized cabins, a real chapel in the woods and access to recreational facilities on our 250 acre site.
Youth Groups
Camp Kinkora has a strong and rich history as ‘the place to go’ for Youth Groups and Youth Retreats. The cabins, dining hall, chapel, and outdoor activity spaces provide the perfect venue for recreation, connection and reflection!
Family Gatherings
A great place for family reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, holiday celebrations, etc… Our facilities, equipment, and outdoor space provides all you need for a day or a weekend of family, food, and fun for children and adults alike!
School Groups
Excellent venue for Elementary and High Schools; CEGEPS and Universities. Ideal for outdoor recreation/education, nature programs, leadership camps, grad retreats, field trips, etc… the possibilities are endless! Great venue for staff retreats as well!
Retreats
Simplicity, serenity, the beauty of nature, the mountains, the lake, the crackling fire… Ahhh! Kinkora’s pristine, peaceful site is ‘off the beaten track’, providing a perfect spot for meditation, yoga, reflection, prayer, etc.. Need a venue to run a retreat? You’ve come to the right place!
Seminars & Conferences
With a main gathering area that can comfortably accommodate up to 200 participants, the availability of food services and some AV equipment, consider Kinkora as an interesting alternative for hosting a corporate retreat, seminar, or conference.
Camp Kinkora’s $19.26 Donation Campaign is on!!!
Born in 1926, our beloved Kinkora turned 95 this year! She has, for just short of a century, shared her magic with thousands. Over the course of her life, she has successfully brought people together in a spirit of community, kindness and natural wonder. Lifelong relationships have been inspired and endless memories created.
Over the course of this pandemic, our dear Camp Kinkora has been in quarantine. We are inviting you to help Kinkora weather the Covid-19 storm so we can start planning a 95th celebration together under sunnier skies! In honour of her birthdate, we are asking for donations of $19.26, along with your camp memories, associations & eternal pearls. Every bit helps! For those in a position to do so, a monthly contribution of this amount would be incredible (tax receipt to be issued at year-end).
We look forward to that time when we will celebrate together – in person – on Kinkora soil!
Project of the Year
Camp Kinkora counts on the generosity of the greater community to keep her doors open every year. In particular, special projects may arise that would benefit from a particular financial or volunteer support.
